My Red caped King.

Oh! My red caped king,
Since your birth the history was in making,
Learning every move so close,
With every fall you rose.

In your blue eyes,
you carried dreams to win,
Killing to win for is not the sin,
The rush, the fire I see in you,
Is just the other side of you,
The love the care for your nation,
Your thoughts so brave then the ocean.

Xerxes touched, played with you,
Unknown of the sleeping devil in you,
They threaten your love, loved ones,
What fool they were for they have done the miss.

No Polit no diplomat only your belief,
You Walked with the spear n the shield,
To slay the marching thousands,
Words of beautiful Gorgo with,"Come alive or come on your shield."

How stupid of Xerxes,
didn't understand your hundreds,
The red 300 were brave of the braves,
They, the sons of Sparta,
Move to curb the alienation.

Thermopylae where you wait,
For the forth coming Persian blade,
The wall is in making,
With every dawn the Persian Empire is in breaking,
Your courage your valor,
Every word was a roar of lion,
Beating your heart was so calm,
Firm was the spear in your palm.

Every sight of the enemy you become more resilient,
With every thrust of the spear enemy went silent,
From the Xerxes' camp came All the might,
You fought day and night.

Submission,Not the choice for you,
for every brave standing there,
Was son of Sparta too.

From the yellow skies blood rained,
Spartan bodies were drained,
But in the soul the vigor remained,
For the immortals were put to test,
Their name undone by the spartan blade.

Beasts, they sent for you,
Still thoughts of winning over you,
The spartans fight,
They know the direction of spear right.

Cowering stood the army from persia,
Challenge to sparta,
Was the call for Euthanasia.

A cheat among you,
The traitor with you betrayed,
For whims sacrificed Spartan blade.

Still you danced your way to glory,
In every swing of your,
Swept away heads from the body.

Oh! Red caped Spartan,
Son of mighty Hercules,The Brave Leonidas,
Last words of yours,
They are still empowering us
,"Go, tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,That here, obedient to their laws, we lie."
Your words, the swing of sword,
The thump of the shield,The scent of the yield,
They are etched in our memory,
No you've not been made a history.

Sparta remained free,
Persians had to flee,
Spartan's red might,
shines in day in night.

Leonidas, you are there for the heroic deed,
Gave birth to a new creed,
For with our lives,
We take the same lead.
